PNG Hekari FC reached a milestone with a 3–1 victory over Vanuatu United FC, their first win in the OFC Pro League. After conceding to Bill Kaltack, Hekari drew level when Joseph Joe’s effort was deflected into the net for an own goal.
Rex Naime put Hekari ahead after the interval, and Raymond Gunemba added a third in stoppage time. Joseph Joe helped create both goals.
Hekari protected their lead despite Ati Kepo’s late dismissal, with Godfrey Haro’s earlier clearance off the goal line also proving crucial.
