Hekari Football Academy
Developing the future of Papua New Guinean football, from grassroots to the elite level.
The Hekari Football Academy is the club’s official youth development programme, launched in 2006 to bring players through from grassroots to the elite level. It is aimed at children aged 4 to 16 and offers free, structured training sessions led by experienced coaches and senior players.
Programmes run in Port Moresby and have expanded into Vanimo, Kokopo and Mount Hagen. The focus is on skill development and discipline, and on building a genuine pathway into professional football and national representation.

What we ask
Commitments
Sessions are free, and always will be. In return the club asks families for consistent attendance, and asks players to stay in school. Education comes first — the coaches check.
Bring boots and shin pads if you have them. If you do not, come anyway and talk to a coach.
